WRSI Current Vented Whitewater & Rescue Helmet
The WRSI Current Helmet combines a multi-impact protection system with a secure retention design developed for demanding whitewater environments. Designed to remain securely positioned under hydraulic forces, the Current provides a professional helmet option for water rescue, swiftwater operations, rafting, kayaking, and other moving-water environments.
The helmet uses an ABS outer shell combined with an EVA foam liner and polyurethane sub-shell to dissipate impact energy. A removable, replaceable padded liner provides a comfortable fit and can be removed for drying, cleaning, or replacement.
WRSI's Interconnect Retention System is designed to self-adjust as hydraulic forces push against the helmet, helping maintain its position on the wearer's head. An adjustable O-Brace Harness conforms around the back of the head to further stabilize the helmet and reduce rearward movement.
The Current is a vented helmet with three ventilation and drainage openings that provide airflow and allow water to escape. The helmet provides front, side, and rear head protection without ear coverage and is certified to CE EN 1385.
