The Singing Rock BACK-UP Fall Arrester is a professional rope-based fall-arrest device designed to follow the user in both directions while providing automatic locking in the event of a fall. Its mobile configuration allows the device to travel along the rope during normal movement without requiring continuous manual operation.

The device can also be used as a positioning device or rope-locking device by shifting the special button into the lock position. Its design supports loads in a semi-dynamic manner, helping reduce shock effects on the rope compared with traditional self-locking devices using toothed cams.
