Kong KISA Energy Absorber

The Kong KISA Energy Absorber is a compact friction-based energy absorber designed to reduce impact forces during a fall. The device allows the rope to be threaded through different combinations of openings, providing controlled friction as the rope moves through the device under load.

Designed for use with 9 mm to 11 mm diameter UIAA rope, the KISA provides a lightweight, reusable component for compatible climbing and fall-energy-management systems. Its compact aluminum construction weighs only 62 grams, making it easy to integrate into equipment where minimizing weight and bulk is important.

The KISA features multiple rope-routing openings and a larger attachment opening for configuring the device according to the required system.
