Sterling 3/8" Sentinel BC Static Black Rope – Berry Amendment Compliant

The Sterling 3/8" Sentinel BC Static Black Rope is a Berry Amendment compliant static kernmantle rope purpose-built for military and tactical applications. Manufactured in the United States from 100% U.S.-sourced and manufactured raw materials, the Sentinel BC provides a domestic-source rope option for military procurement requirements.

Built on Sterling's proven SuperStatic2 construction, the Sentinel BC combines a high-tenacity nylon core with a firm, smooth sheath. Its low elongation provides controlled performance during ascending, hauling, fixed-line operations, and mission-specific rigging, while the high strength-to-weight ratio keeps the rope relatively lightweight and packable for field use. The firm sheath helps prevent debris from reaching the core and allows the rope to maintain its round profile when running over edges and through compatible rigging hardware.

The 9.5 mm rope has a minimum breaking strength of 4,945 lb. (22.0 kN) and a working load limit of 494 lb. (2.20 kN) based on a 10:1 safety factor. Elongation is 3.1% at 300 lb. The rope weighs approximately 4.2 lb. per 100 ft., or 62.5 g/m.

Available in 200 ft. (61 m) and 660 ft. (200 m) lengths in black. The Sentinel BC is a static rope and is not rated for dynamic or lead-climbing falls. Made in the USA.
