NRS Rescue Board – Inflatable Swiftwater Rescue Board
The NRS Rescue Board is a lightweight, rigid inflatable platform designed specifically for the demanding requirements of swiftwater rescue professionals. Its drop-stitch construction allows the board to be inflated to high pressure for the rigidity needed during rescue operations while still allowing it to be deflated and folded for compact transport and storage.
The drop-stitch construction permits inflation up to 20 psi, providing rigidity comparable to a foam or composite rescue board without the transportation and storage requirements of a permanently rigid platform. A Leafield A6 pressure-relief valve activates at 20 psi to help protect the board from damage caused by over-inflation. The relief valve is screen protected to help prevent river debris from entering and damaging the valve.
A grooved and textured deck pad provides traction for the rescuer, while padded handles provide secure gripping points for controlling the board in moving water. The high-visibility yellow construction and prominent RESCUE markings improve identification during emergency operations.
