Notch BIG SHOT Deluxe Kit
The Notch BIG SHOT Deluxe Kit is a complete professional line-setting system designed for arborists, tree-care professionals, utility vegetation-management crews, and other applications requiring accurate placement of throwlines into elevated positions. The BIG SHOT provides a simple mechanical means of launching a throw weight and line into the canopy, allowing climbing lines, friction savers, and other rope systems to be positioned from the ground.
The system uses two connectable 4 ft. fiberglass poles and the BIG SHOT launcher head to provide an assembled 8 ft. launching platform. With appropriate lightweight throwline and throw weights, the BIG SHOT is capable of accurately reaching vertical distances exceeding 100 ft.
The Deluxe Kit provides the complete line-setting package rather than only the launcher. It includes two 4 ft. fiberglass poles, BIG SHOT head, 200 ft. of Notch Neon Plus 3 mm throwline, throwline bag, 10 oz. Notch Zero throw weight, 12 oz. Notch Zero throw weight, replacement BIG SHOT tubing, BIG SHOT Trigger, and a heavy-duty carrying case.
The included BIG SHOT Trigger provides a controlled release mechanism intended to improve launch consistency and accuracy. The heavy-duty carrying case keeps the launcher, poles, throwline, weights, and accessories together for transport and storage between jobsites.
