HexArmor Ceros XP450AE Non-Vented Type 1 Class E Safety Helmet with Mips

The HexArmor Ceros XP450AE with Mips is a premium non-vented, short-brim Type 1, Class E safety helmet designed for demanding industrial, utility, electrical, construction, and work-at-height environments. The integrated Mips safety system incorporates a lightweight, low-friction layer inside the helmet that moves slightly during certain angled impacts to help redirect rotational motion away from the head.

The XP450AE uses a fully enclosed, non-vented helmet shell for electrical protection. It carries a Class E electrical classification, making it the electrical-protection counterpart to the vented Class C XP450A with Mips. Class E helmets are proof tested at 20,000 volts.

The short-brim design provides greater upward visibility, while HexArmor’s extended back-of-head design provides up to 17 percent more rear coverage. The helmet comes preassembled with a six-point AirBridge suspension incorporating the Mips safety system for balanced weight distribution and additional protection against rotational motion from angled impacts.

The padded SwiftLock one-hand wheel ratchet provides fast fit adjustment, while the premium moisture-resistant removable sweatband extends from ear to ear for increased comfort. A removable four-point chin strap provides additional retention for active and work-at-height applications.

The XP450AE with Mips is compatible with HexArmor Click-and-Go magnetic accessories and mechanical accessories, allowing compatible face shields, earmuffs, and other components to be integrated directly with the helmet.
