HexArmor Ceros XP Mechanical Face Shield Kit – 17-12001

The HexArmor Ceros XP Mechanical Face Shield Kit provides clear, close-fitting face protection designed specifically for compatible Ceros XP safety helmets. The shield integrates directly with the helmet using HexArmor’s mechanical attachment system, allowing fast installation without tools.

The clear face shield features HexArmor TruShield permanent anti-fog coating on the inside and a scratch-resistant hard coat on the outside. Unlike temporary coatings, the dual-action coating is designed to remain on the shield through repeated use and cleaning.

When raised, the face shield nests low and evenly across the top of the helmet. This compact position helps reduce catch hazards while improving balance and reducing strain compared with face shields that sit high above the helmet.

The shield meets ANSI Z87.1-2020 Z87+ high-impact requirements, CE EN166, and CSA Z94.3. It also provides D3 liquid-splash protection and 100 percent UV protection.

Compatible HexArmor helmets currently carried by Vertex include the Ceros XP250, XP250E, XP450A, and XP450AE. The face shield is also compatible with HexArmor K1M earmuffs, allowing integrated head, face, and hearing protection.
