DMM Captain Remote Anchor Hook

The DMM Captain is a high-strength, self-locating hook designed for remote anchor connection, positioning, and controlled lateral movement during professional work-at-height operations. Developed with Treemagineers, the Captain is particularly useful for moving through tree canopies, between trees, and across complex structures where direct access to an anchor point may be difficult. The carefully shaped hook body works with a pivoting D-shackle to help the Captain orient and locate correctly on a suitable anchor. If presented in the wrong orientation, the pivoting connection helps destabilize the hook so it can reposition for more reliable placement.

Once correctly positioned on a suitable anchor, the Captain provides a rated strength of 23 kN. Its compact, snag-resistant profile also allows it to rack efficiently on a harness when not in use. DMM specifically classifies the Captain as not PPE. (DMM North America)
