FrenchCreek PD2 Portable Davit System Base – 36–60 in. Adjustable

The FrenchCreek PD2 Portable Davit System Base provides a stable, temporary foundation for the FrenchCreek PD1 Davit Mast Assembly in confined-space entry, retrieval, rescue, and routine work applications.

Designed for portability and rapid field setup, the three-piece base adjusts from 36 to 60 inches to accommodate a range of confined-space openings. An integrated bullseye level helps with proper positioning, while tool-free height adjustment simplifies setup on site.

The PD2 is constructed from powder-coated aluminum and alloy steel and is designed for temporary installations where a permanent davit base is unavailable or unnecessary. When paired with the FrenchCreek PD1 Davit Mast Assembly and appropriate retrieval equipment, the system provides a configurable confined-space access solution for applications including manholes, utility vaults, tanks, pits, pump stations, and similar vertical-entry locations.
