The 3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Long Reach Davit System is a five-piece, high-capacity portable davit system designed for confined-space entry, retrieval, fall arrest, rescue, and work-support applications. Its modular aluminum construction provides a substantial overhead anchorage system while allowing the components to be separated for transport, setup, and storage.

The long-reach configuration provides an adjustable mast and base for positioning over manholes, tanks, pits, vaults, and other difficult-to-access confined spaces. The davit pivots to improve rescue positioning and can be adjusted to accommodate overhead-clearance restrictions. An integrated leveling system allows the base to be leveled independently when working on uneven surfaces.

Features include an integrated 5,000 lb. (22 kN) mast anchorage point, fall-arrest capability throughout all davit offset positions, adjustable mast height and base width, high-strength aluminum construction, adjustable foot-leveling system, built-in level indicator, and tool-free setup and dismantling. Compatible authorized self-retracting lifelines and winches can be mounted to the system for complete confined-space entry and retrieval configurations.
