Allegro 8" Centrifugal Gas Blower, Briggs & Stratton
The Allegro 8" Centrifugal Gas Blower provides high-output portable ventilation for confined-space operations and remote work locations where electrical power is unavailable or impractical. Powered by a Briggs & Stratton gasoline engine, it is designed for supplying fresh air or extracting fumes from manholes, tanks, utility vaults, industrial spaces, and other demanding work environments.
The 5 hp gasoline engine drives a centrifugal blower capable of delivering up to 1,390 CFM of free-air flow. When used with 15 feet of 8-inch ducting, airflow is rated at 1,152 CFM with one 90-degree bend and 1,079 CFM with two 90-degree bends.
Two 8-inch ports allow the blower to support positive-pressure ventilation or fume extraction. The rugged safety-orange polyethylene housing incorporates a carrying handle for transport, while a powder-coated 12-gauge steel base provides stability and helps minimize movement during operation. Steel guards protect the blower openings in demanding field environments.
The four-stroke, air-cooled gasoline engine uses a 3.2-quart fuel tank and provides approximately 3 to 4 hours of operation per tank. A 6-foot inlet hose extension is included.
