Allegro 8" AC Plastic COM-PAX-IAL Blower with Canister and 15' Ducting

The Allegro 8" AC Plastic COM-PAX-IAL Blower is a compact, portable ventilation system designed for confined-space entry, utility work, industrial maintenance, construction, and other applications requiring forced-air ventilation or extraction. The complete system combines an 8-inch axial blower, storage canister, and 15 feet of flexible ducting in a lightweight package that can be rapidly deployed at the work site.

The quick-connect design allows the ducting canister to attach to either the inlet or outlet side of the blower without tools. This allows the system to be configured for supplying fresh air into a work area or extracting contaminated or unwanted air. When the system is not in use, the ducting stores inside the canister for easier transportation and storage.

The blower delivers up to 831 CFM of free-air flow. With one 90-degree bend in the duct, airflow is rated at 709 CFM, while two 90-degree bends provide 586 CFM. The 1/3 hp AC motor operates on 115V power.

The safety-orange polyethylene blower and canister housings are lightweight and resistant to corrosion, ultraviolet exposure, and many jobsite chemicals. Molded carrying handles on both the blower and canister simplify transport, while a powder-coated steel grille protects the fan assembly.

The included 15-foot duct is constructed from single-ply PVC-coated vinyl and polyester with a spring-steel wire helix. The duct is rated for temperatures up to 180°F (82.2°C).
