3M Protecta PRO Adjustable Web Positioning Lanyard, 6 ft. – 1385301

The 3M Protecta PRO Adjustable Web Positioning Lanyard is a 6-foot adjustable single-leg lanyard designed for professional work positioning and restraint applications. Its adjustable web construction allows the user to customize the working length for the specific positioning or restraint task.

The lanyard is constructed from abrasion-resistant polyester webbing for durability in demanding industrial and construction environments. An integrated wear indicator uses contrasting marker yarns within the webbing to provide a visual indication of excessive wear and help support routine equipment inspections.

Self-locking snap hooks are installed at both ends for secure connection to compatible harness and anchorage attachment points. The hooks incorporate 3,600 lb. gated strength and corrosion-resistant steel construction.

The PRO positioning lanyard does not incorporate a shock absorber. It is intended for work positioning or restraint applications rather than use as a stand-alone shock-absorbing fall-arrest lanyard. 3M states that positioning lanyards without shock absorbers may be used without a separate fall-arrest system only where the potential fall is limited to 2 ft. or less.
