The 3M DBI-SALA Lad-Saf 5000335 Mobile Rope Grab is a self-tracking fall-arrest device designed for use with compatible 5/8-inch vertical synthetic lifelines. The rope grab travels along the lifeline as the worker moves, helping provide hands-free vertical mobility while automatically locking onto the rope in the event of a fall.

The mobile design allows the rope grab to follow the worker during ascent and descent without requiring continuous manual repositioning. Its hinged construction allows the unit to be installed or removed at intermediate points along a compatible lifeline rather than requiring installation from the end of the rope.

An integrated inertia and cam-locking mechanism is designed to engage the lifeline during a fall, arresting downward movement. The unit incorporates a connecting point for attachment to a compatible energy-absorbing lanyard and full-body harness as part of a complete personal fall-arrest system.

The durable corrosion-resistant construction is intended for repeated professional use in construction, maintenance, utilities, roofing, tower work, and other applications requiring vertical-lifeline fall protection.

This rope grab must be used with a compatible 5/8-inch synthetic lifeline and other components specified by 3M. It is a component of a complete fall-protection system and is not intended for use as a stand-alone fall-arrest device.
