3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Rescue Davit Arm Assembly
The 3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Rescue Davit Arm Assembly is a lightweight, portable component designed to expand compatible DBI-SALA confined-space and fall-arrest systems for personnel rescue and retrieval. Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum, the adjustable davit arm provides a versatile overhead anchorage and lifeline-routing solution for confined-space entry, rescue, utility, industrial, and infrastructure applications.
The adjustable arm provides a maximum working height of 71 inches and a maximum offset of 34 inches, allowing the system to be positioned over or near the confined-space opening. Detent and knob-style adjustments secure the arm in position, while an included stabilizer strap helps minimize unwanted movement during operation.
Built-in primary and secondary pulleys provide lifeline routing through the davit assembly, and an integrated secondary fall-arrest anchor point allows additional protection for personnel involved in the entry or rescue operation. The portable telescoping design incorporates a quick-mount bracket for compatible winches and self-retracting lifelines.
The aluminum construction keeps the assembly portable while providing durability and corrosion resistance for demanding professional environments. Compatible 3-way self-retracting lifelines with emergency retrieval and winches attach to the mounting bracket for development of a complete confined-space retrieval system. Winch, SRL, fall-arrest post, and other system components are sold separately.
