The 3M DBI-SALA Confined Space Aluminum Tripod with Salalift II Winch is a complete portable retrieval system designed for vertical confined-space entry, rescue, and personnel retrieval. This configuration combines a 9-foot aluminum tripod with a manually operated Salalift II winch and 60 feet of galvanized steel cable for applications including manholes, tanks, utility vaults, vessels, industrial facilities, and other vertical-entry environments.

The aluminum tripod features telescoping, adjustable locking legs, padded feet, and a leg-support chain to provide a stable working platform while remaining portable enough to be set up by a single worker. An integrated pulley system routes the lifeline through the tripod head, while quick-connect mounting brackets allow compatible mechanical devices to be installed efficiently.
